With our Southport Learning Partnership schools we decided to revamp our local park. The schools decided it was a park used by all and that it would benefit from a little care and attention. We worked hard to clear a patch of soil ready to plant new flowers and sow some seeds. We had a poster competition in our schools to advertise the need to look after our local park. These posters are now displayed at Bedford park. All schools collected lots of recycled garden waste to build a huge bug hotel. We even designed and put up our own bird boxes.
