A busy week of football!

Liverpool F.C. Premier League Competition

On Wednesday, the 'A' team took part in the prestigious Premier League competition at Anfield Community Centre. The team played with fantastically throughout the morning, beating each team they faced. This led to them qualifying for the regional finals in March. A pleasant surprise after the matches finished, was that this tournament had been chosen by the Premier League for a trophy visit. This meant that the team were able to get a photo with the REAL PREMIER LEAGUE TROPHY! Well done boys and good luck in March!

Year Five EFC Tournament at Stanley High School

Well done to all the boys who represented our school at this tournament. The 'B' team improved each game and enjoyed the experience. The 'A' team were unbeaten throughout, narrowly missing out in the triangular final to O.L.O.C.. Both teams should be very proud of themselves!

Girls Football

Wednesday was a special day as our newly formed girls' team played their first ever matches against St. John's Crossens! The team won the first match (home) 2-0 but lost the second (away) 1-0. Well done girls- the first of many fixtures this season!

'B' Team

The ‘B’ team played Farnborough ‘C’ this week. They continued their impressive start to the season with a 7-0 win with goals from Ciaran Glynn, Jamie Connolly, Patrick Durkin and Rio Mason. As well as scoring plenty of goals they managed to keep their first clean sheet of the year. A super performance!!
