School Council

2017/18 Class Elections

This week Miss Flynn addressed the whole school regarding our upcoming class elections. Children were reminded of their role as a class representative and this year the children have an added responsilbity of being a Rights Respecting School Ambassador, as many of the repsonsibilites and roles overlap.

The application forms can be printed off and teachers will be holding their class vote before Friday 6th October.

We look forward to meeting our new school council team!

Welcome to our School Council Page

At the start of each school year our KS1 and KS2 children hold their own School Council elections.

Children who wish to stand as a candidate have to write their own manifesto and make a poster to promote themselves.

Each class nominates their School Council representatives.

Southport Learning Partnership

Over the past few years our school Council representatives have met with other representatives from other Primary and Secondary Schools from across the Southport area.

They meet to discuss the issues concerning our local community and environment. The Southport Learning Partnership hope that these meetings will allow children to voice their opinions and ideas and bring about positive change in our community.

This year we are working with children from Christ the King High School, Birkdale Primary School, Farnborough Road Infants and Juniors and Greenbank High School.
