All badged items and ties are available from Rawcliffes, Southport.

PE bags and reading bags can be purchased from the school office.

 

Pupils in Nursery – Year 2 should have an Our Lady of Lourdes reading bag.Pupils in Years 3 – 6 should have an Our Lady of Lourdes rucksack if possible to bring books and items in to and from home and school. 

 

 

Training shoes are not allowed, as standard footwear in school.  All shoes should be black, although plain blue/white girls’ sandals will be acceptable from Whit to Summer.  Girls’ footwear should not have high heels, as this can cause health and safety problems in school.  Hair ribbons etc, in uniform colours – pale blue, navy, white, gingham or stripe.  Watches may be worn and earrings must be of the stud variety – no other jewellery is allowed.  All items of clothing should be clearly marked with the child’s name.  Lunch boxes should be used for packed lunches, and sports bags are not allowed in school.  A drawstring bag is the most convenient method of storing P.E kits in school – this also should be named.  School uniform can be purchased from Rawcliffes, London Street, Southport. 

 

 

Due to the easy spread of head lice it is advisable that girls wear long hair in plaits, braids, bunches or pony tails to reduce the risk of infestation.  We recommend regular checks and treatment for head lice.  Boys with long hair are expected to tie it back.
