All areas of the Early Years Curriculum are catered for in a wide variety of learning opportunities through a fun and interactive way. Each Parent and Child work together sharing learning experiences in a happy and welcoming environment. Parents and children enjoy the social side of coming to the group. The children build friendships with other children they will be in Nursery with and parents enjoy meeting with other parents.
The sessions are supported by an experience member of the Nursery team. As the time approaches for your child to enter Nursery, they help make sure that the child’s transition into Nursery is as smooth as possible.

Easter Egg Hunt
We enjoyed a visit from the Easter bunny
We use lots of different media in our messy tray. We have enjoyed squelching paint, custard and beans, squashing Rice Krispies and splashing in water.
For early mark making we use different writing equipment such as felt pens, chalk pens and gel crayons. We use paper of different sizes, colour, texture and shapes.
We have something creative every week, it can be painting, sticking, gluing and making things such as decorations and cards. We use different equipment to achieve different effects. In creative engagement we aim to develop our fine motor skills as well as exploring the different media.
The children enjoy acting out real life experiences such as making dinner and a cup of tea, or feeding and changing the baby. We also have lots of small world resources.
We meet new friends and so do our Mummy’s and Daddy’s
We have fun
The children enjoy singing and ring games, a favorite is the ‘Hokey Cokey’ and ‘Row row your boat’. We also listen to stories and have fun playing with different toys each week.
