English – Following on from yesterday’s book cover design, today we would like you to write your own blurb for your book. Remember a blurb is the information on the back of the book that tells the reader briefly what the book is about. Here is an example from Room on the Broom.

The witch and her cat are happily flying through the sky on a broomstick when the wind picks up and blows away the witch’s hat, then her bow, and then her wand!  Luckily, three helpful animals find the missing items, and all they want in return is a ride on the broom.  But is there room on the broom for so many friends?  And when disaster strikes, will they be able to save the witch from a hungry dragon?

Don’t worry about how long it is, just few sentences giving the reader some clues is fine.

Maths– This week we will be revisiting some of the topics we have covered in Maths this Year. Today we will focus on division. Please complete some of the Times Table Super Movers https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/supermovers/times-table-collection/z4vv6v4 These skills will help when solving division sums. Please then complete the division sheet attached, remember to draw out bowls if you need to, there is an example of this on the sheet.
