In June 2015 we were delighted to receive our RRSA Recognition of Commitment (ROC) status.
We are extremely proud of our children, staff and school. We hope that you will continue to support us on our Rights Respecting journey.
We will keep you informed about our progress!
The first stage of the RRSA is the Recognition of Commitment (ROC). This is awarded to schools when:
· A steering group composed of adults and children is formed to guide, promote and develop the RR initiative throughout the school.
· An action plan has been completed and signed off by the Headteacher.
· Procedures are put in place for monitoring the impact of the initiative.
· The RRSA is introduced to the whole school community.
This term each class will be holding a cake sale to raise money for Syrian refugees. Year 5&6 kicked it off today and raised lots of money!
Thank you to all who donated and baked beautiful treats!
Thank you to all the families who helped to collect as many shoes as possible. We managed to collect over 200 pairs!!
UNICEF works with Clarks to fund and support educational projects around the world. Ensuring every child receives an education.
Amazingly, we have been contacted by UNICEF and have been awarded a £50 voucher for Clarks due to our amazing efforts.
Well done to everybody. We are hoping to either buy some spare pumps for PE or raffle it off at our upcoming Christmas Fair.
Thank you for your generosity.
Day for Change Fairtrade Tuck Shop
The fairtrade tuck shop was a huge success. Thank you to all the staff for supplying the fairtrade produce which was then sold at break time. We managed to raise a fantastic £142.57 which will help to support UNICEF’s work; upholding every child’s right to receive a balanced, nutritious diet.
Thank you for all your donations and support,
